It has grown a lot in the last 20 years but there is still a small town feel to it. There are some great options for schools both public and private. We are just far enough away from the big city of Columbia.

They could do better at mowing the area though. You have to pull out into the road sometimes and risk getting hit to make a turn or something. It is amazing how far people have traveled to live here and go to school in Columbia.

As for the TV, there are only German channels. One of the problems I faced with the hotel was the location in terms of being far from the city center. The small apartments in combination with a Rewe around the corner make it easy to self-cater.

We would recommend this hotel, just one improvement if only they could provide transportation from the airport. Apartment was spacious, kitchen was very well designed and bathroom had roll in shower and non slip floor. Would have been better to have fold down type in shower.
No little welcome note and small gift in the room for platinum members, that i always receive. Everything including the colour combinations around the hotel, which clearly don't fit together, was wrong. We live in a rural area so being in nature is wonderful. The community is lacking in diversity, art and cultural experiences. I love Blythewood because everyone here knows each other & they are so friendly & throw lots of events to bring the community together. Sometimes existing floor plans and layouts are not the best fit for homebuyers who have unique needs and a specific vision in mind.
