As for the TV, there are only German channels. One of the problems I faced with the hotel was the location in terms of being far from the city center. The small apartments in combination with a Rewe around the corner make it easy to self-cater.

It was the first time I stayed at a Tribute portfolio hotel from Marriott and Gekko House didn't disappoint. The staff was very efficient and friendly, the rooms are clean and creative. I loved the design elements in the room, made it very chic and modern. They even upgraded my room as per my Marriott Elite status, I didn't have to ask for it. The location of the property is also very close to the Messe and the Central Station with a tram station 2 mins away from the hotel.

The breakfast quite frankly was an absolute joke. I've honestly had better quality food and more in a youth hostel. No hot food, no love or care or attention to making the food.. Just one type of the cheapest white kaiserbrotchen together with the cheapest package ham and cheese and yoghurt. Some people even would have to pay 45 euros if they booked breakfast in their rate.

If I had to name something that I would like to see a change in concerning Blythewood, I would say the amount of activities available. Sure, there are a variety of small fast food chains and local grocery markets within the city limits. However, the town is so small that I find it hard to explore other options as far as how I would choose to spend my weekend. The local park is very beautiful, but I feel as though it would be beneficial to see more things to do there. Blythewood is a small town on the outskirts of Columbia, South Carolina.

We would recommend this hotel, just one improvement if only they could provide transportation from the airport. Apartment was spacious, kitchen was very well designed and bathroom had roll in shower and non slip floor. Would have been better to have fold down type in shower.

No little welcome note and small gift in the room for platinum members, that i always receive. Everything including the colour combinations around the hotel, which clearly don't fit together, was wrong.
